Independent Director

Ms Susan Chong Suk Shien is an Independent Director, and the Chairman of the Board Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Committee of the Trustee-Manager. 

Ms Chong is presently the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Greenphyto Pte Ltd, an agri-tech company that supports sustainable food security through innovative, automated and weather-resilient farming solutions. Prior to establishing Greenphyto, she founded Greenpac (S) Pte Ltd in September 2002, a knowledge-based enterprise specialising in the design, re-engineering and distribution of innovative, environmentally friendly packaging solutions.

She currently chairs the Learning Gateway Ltd and Arber Pte Ltd and sits on the Boards of SkillsFuture Singapore Agency.

Ms Chong was awarded the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 by Ernst & Young Singapore. She holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and is also an alumna of Harvard Business School.
