Independent Director

Ms Margaret Lui is an Independent Director, as well as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and Investment Committee of the Trustee-Manager.

Ms Lui spent over 40 years in Temasek Holdings prior to her retirement in April 2025, where she led direct investments across sectors including transportation, industrials, engineering and real estate. During her tenure, Ms Lui also played a significant role in restructuring and transforming Temasek’s portfolio companies and in establishing new startups. Her contributions include the creation of CitySpring Infrastructure, the first infrastructure business trust to be listed on the Singapore Exchange.

Ms Lui was also the founding CEO of Azalea Investment Management (Azalea), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek’s private equity platform, Seviora Holdings. Ms Lui currently serves as an Advisor to Azalea, having retired after a decade as its CEO, where she led the development of various innovative investment products.

Ms Lui graduated from the National University of Singapore, with a Bachelor in Accountancy and is an alumna of The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
